This thread is worthless w/o pics but...

Thanks madmatt! twogts4us...front springs are untouched with no lower isolators and rear I cut 1/4 coil off. When I have some more time I am going to cut another 1/2 coil off the rear to drop it a little more. I bought them used on www.corral.net classifieds...got all 4 for under $100.

Awesome man. What rear springs did you use? I have 4cyl up front and 8cyl fox springs in back. I also love the weight transfer...its badass when you go WOT and the front end comes up. Go with the Strange 10 way adjustable drag struts and shocks. They will still be good for daily driving and...

Tapping oil pan for Vortech supercharger

If it is only $50 I probably will take it somewhere. Did you install the rest of the blower youself? And how did you have them tap it?...did you take the pan off the car and bring it to them? Or just have them jack the car up and put the tap in?

Tapping oil pan for Vortech supercharger

Ok...I'm going to install a Vortech SQ trim I just bought in a week or two. I think the install should all be pretty simple...except drilling the oil pan. What are your reccomendations on doing this? Did you take the pan off or leave it on? What kind of drill bit did you use? Anything you would...

    Mustang vs lancer evo 8

I think AWD is way overplayed. RWD gets the best traction.

    Magnaflow-MACH1-GT-Swap??

Exactly. The tail pipes are different. But I bet you can swap out the muffler and piece that goes to the X pipe.

    UPR Products:Need feedback

I think UPR's quality is great. I have several of their pieces and love them. I don't know why anyone would say UPR's quality is not as good.

    Question on LT's

You can find them all over the internet. The best ones would probably be Hooker. You can remove the transmission without touching the headers...these go for about $800 I believe. If you are looking for a cheaper option there is BBK and MAC. Both you will have to remove the the passenger side...

    Question on LT's

If they have a good welder and a pipe bending machine then they could easily do it. If your speed shop doesn't an exhaust shop could easily do it also.

    PI Intake or stay Stock

RTV is a liquid gasket. And IMO is In My Opinion. I would reccomend the PI intake. You will love the gains. As for other mods you will love an offroad X pipe. It will give a little bit of power and make a huge sound difference. If you are really looking for some power you can do the PI...

    Question on LT's

The UPR x pipe is not going to bolt right up to long tubes without some modification.

    new supercharger need tranny upgrade?

I think its going to be hit or miss. I'm broke my stock transmission while still being stock. The clutch should last a little while...but not forever with 415rwhp. I think as long as you don't beat the hell out of the car the tranny and clutch should hold up for a while.
