    Eibach Pro-kit question

I can get the top of the shock through the plate if I lean on the fender. I am concerned that this is not the right way to do it.

    Eibach Pro-kit question

Yes. If you mean the two little holes on the bottom of the A-arm. I was able to mark where the original spring was before I removed it. The new spring is in the same spot.

    Eibach Pro-kit question

The jack is under the A-arm compressing the spring. The car is off the jack stand I set under the car for this install. I still can't get any part of the front shock up through the plate to nut and bolt it in. 132608 is the number on the spring. I wonder if it was placed in the wrong box.

    Eibach Pro-kit question

I'm not using a spring compressor. There werew none available where I live for todays install. I do have a tie rod removal tool thoough. Without a spring compressor, I need to lower the A-arm more. For this the brake hoses are too short.

    Eibach Pro-kit question

I'm istalling Eibach Pro springs. All the instructions I have read state to remove the caliper out of the way. I believe this is because the brake hoses are too short to lower the A-arms as much as I need to. Regarding the caliper, one way states to remove the inner two bolts only, while...

Thanks Kilgore Trout. Do you think that the two ways dealing with the brake caliper are equally good?

    Eibach Pro-kit question

Lowering springs install Regarding the front brake calipers, I've read two different ways to deal with them. 1) Remove the two inner bolts to remove the whole caliper. and 2) Remove the two outer bolts as when replaceing the pads. Is one way better than the other?

Trouble cold starting engine:What got wet?

I washed my car with the hood not closed all the way. This allows me to wash the headlights. I have been washing my car this way for 5 years with no problem. When I try to start my engine it immediately dies. I have to keep the engine at 2000 rpm for about 20 to 30 seconds. Then the engine...

    Brake Bleeding Kits?

When I use the vacuum pump, I don't release the pressure as I close the bleeder screw. This keeps any air out of the system. I think that if air has already entered the system from the master cylinder or calipers for examples, then do'nt bleed the brakes with a vacuum pump. I don't see...

    Brake Bleeding Kits?

What is wrong with using a vaccum pump? I don't see how it will let air into the system.

    2007 engine different?

How is the 2007 4.6 3v different from 2005/06 engines? Rousch website states that a $200 kit is needed to make their 2005/06 supercharger work on a 2007. This would explain why there are few 2007 Mustang 4.6 3v superchargers.

    Brake Bleeding Kits?

Any should be fine. Mine said brake bleeding on it. They should be available at any auto parts stores. I love my kit. Just remember to have the master cylinder cover on tight.

    low rpm driving

If you shift too early, you should feel the engine lug. Lugging the engine is a good way to ruin your main bearings. From my experience, the engine should be at least 1300RPM after I shift. I shift into fifth gear at speeds over 55 MPH. This is a really weak gear at low RPM.
