    Not another "Traction Bar" tread...

Ok it seems to be that time now that I have my Limited Slip installed and I now discovered what wheel hop is. But which one? "Weld in Under Rider" - "Slapper Bar" or "Slid a Link" Everyone seems to say that all have worked in their situations, but again which one? And why is it...

    rear differential

I second what tx65coupe said. I just installed a Powertrac from Richmond and it makes me very uncomfortable driving around the street. My Dad just had a Eaton Limited Slip installed and the guy installing it will not do Richmond. We haven't completed the install yet, but it seems to be a much...

Can someone explain my 1/4 times to me in English?

Wes that was the type of explaination I was looking for. As far as practicing my launch on an empty road, you were reading my mind. I hope to get one more day at the track in Nov before they close. Again thaks to all for the tips. Peter S.

Need help on choosing a limited slip for my versailles

Be happy you can't go with Richmond, I have their PowerTrax and don't like it. My Father just had an Eaton system installed. The place my Father found that is installing his Eaton setup will ONLY use Eaton and NOT Richmond. I wish I knew that 2 months ago. Sorry, but my dad still needs to...

    New exhaust installed- pics

CoolBlue65, how do you like your PowerTrac? The clicking noise, really just taking 90 degree turns at intersections, make me fell uneasy. Peter S.

Can someone explain my 1/4 times to me in English?

I have a 66 Coupe which I know is not set up to run, I'm just having some fun. It's lowered on all four corners with sway bars attached. (they won't be next time) I'm running a stock 1990 302. On it I'm using the 66 stock headers and 66 stock intake. Yes I know these are killing me...

Can someone explain my 1/4 times to me in English?

D.Hearne, why is that the issue with the 3:00 gears? Why would a different gear set have better results from the Limited Slip? Also, what I meant with my first post, do the numbers, 60' - 1/8 - & 1/4 make sense. Is anything off. Even with the rear upgrade, I was still spinning the...

    65 Mustang Crate Engine?

I purchased about 4 years ago their 275hp 302. Have you spoken to them and do they only have a 350hp 302 now? Kind of seems weird.

    65 Mustang Crate Engine?

I purchased my engine from The Engine Factory" a few years back. No issues. What's up with their web site, they used to have many different HP options for 302's now I only see 2.

    Electric fan install!!

I placed my sensor inside the top radiator hose, works well. I do have an issue with mine and I thought buying a good expensive fan like this I wouldn't. My car in the heat and driving around town works great, but when on the highway my car slowly increases temp, when you think it shouldn't...

Looking for someone who installed the PowerTrax No-Slip.

Success!!! Ok after pulling it apart twice, retooling the Powertrac, and 9 stitches later it all worked out. Works just like as stated. And as far as any clicking noise you really don't notice anything.

Looking for someone who installed the PowerTrax No-Slip.

Ok so after looking at it again, my differential case did not pass Richmond's "Go", "No Go" test. Now at this point Richmond stated I would have to find a new case and try their unit again. See they said that they can not control differences between the master case they produced the PowerTrac...

Looking for someone who installed the PowerTrax No-Slip.

Well after testing it again the test does work from the driver's side but not the passenger's side. I spoke to Richmond and they said I need to pull it and see what I did wrong. :( Oh well.
