When you place an order for a car they lock you in on the current rebate. If the rebate gets better when the car is delivered they will give you the better rebate. If the rebate gets worse when the car is delivered they will still honor the rebate of when you placed your order.

For the past three summers I have been putting off re-doing my interior. Yesterday I have finally decided to upholster my front and rear seats. I'm glad I waited because I was going to go with TMI Sport Seats and yesterday I see they now make a Sport II Seat that has even higher bolsters than...
My guess is that you bought the Pair set from CJPony part number WSRN1PR. When I replaced mine I bought them as a single unit and they were Scott Drake I believe. I always make sure that if anything I buy is made by Scott Drake I'll get that one and pay a little bit more. Just go look at...
Looks very simular to my 66 that I picked up 10 years ago. I too bought it off of eBay. The underneath of mine was not rusty like yours but I did POR15 the entire underside of mine. I also POR15 the engine bay as well.
And here it is, 10 years later.
Good luck!
Ok, it's been a while, but I have an update on waxing Black Satin Stripes. At the end of the summer I waxed one of the smaller 1 inch stipes when I waxed the entire car. For the most part it did NOT chalk over, but you can see some wax build up on it and some wax build up on both sides where...
Mine is my daily driver. Here in Jersey we don't get much snow, but either way I bought it to drive. Put two coats of wax on it in September and one in November. Let it snow!
Wait a second. You are about to inherit a prestine 64 1/2 Mustang from your Grand Parents that you have been waiting for, for 7 years and your going to sell it. Do your Grand Parents know that?
Looks real nice. That is only the second one, (including mine), that I have seen with those factory Black Satin Stripes.

Husky44 the stripes I used was a Ford Direct part. I could not get the stripes from the factory because of the Glass Roof, so I had to order them and have them installed at the dealer.
So can you wax them? As I'm waxing my car I am making sure not to get any wax on then as I fear they will turn chalky. But to test that, I did wax a small 1 inch section. It did NOT turn chalky, but I am still afraid.
Anyone try it?

Took a lot of pictures that day.
