    However, elsewhere it says: The 2011 Mustang Shelby GT500 is not eligible for purchase or lease utilizing the AXZD Vehicle Purchase Plans. Please check with your local dealer for further details. But the Shelby is technically SVT or at least I'd make the case it is to use the program.

    Well over at the Fordpartner site, it says it's up to the dealer. Copied and pasted from the site: 10. Are SVT vehicles eligible? Yes. However the Plan program is voluntary at participating dealerships. (see below).

    Well the good thing about the AutonationDirect pricing is it's guaranteed to be x% below MSRP, regardless of the options you get. But they're saying they won't 'allow' it, at least that's how I'm interpreting it.

    So my dealer says I can't use X-plan or AutonationDirect pricing on a Boss or Shelby. Anyone else heard that? As far I could see previously, you could definitely use the AutonationDirect on the Shelby, so I think that's false. But I'm just looking for confirmation.

    I got my vinyl ones put on within a week of getting the car. They still look good for the most part but they have started to 'chip' or wear differently than the paint has. If I had the option of doing it again, I'd paint them on. My .02.

    So we know the Recaro racing seats are going to be an option in the 2012 Shelby. My question is, will they have the Cobra logo or GT500 or both embossed in them like "BOSS 302" is on the Boss seats and if so, what colors? Any word on it?

    So you're saying there's a chance. The way the Ford site has it for the Shelby indicates the stripes have to be on the exterior for you to get the interior stripes.

    Since I don't have 6 figures to blow on the lone GB 302, I doubt it. It looks so much better in GB than any other color. Especially with the LS package getting the red off those rims. Besides, so far USAA hasn't offered a Boss on the car buying program but I can get a Shelby for what a LS...
