    You could check the timing to make sure that it is set correctly. If unsure on how to go by checking the timing there are many on here that have done some short simple write ups on it.

    with my combo I would say that I could get an untuned 19-20 mpg if not more if the majority of the 150 miles were on the highway. I have a 75mm TB. The stage 2 cam will be lopey and may be too aggressive for a DD IMO. There may be some clips of the cam on here so you can hear what it sounds like.

    in the ford racing cap and rotor kit the bottom portion of the cap there is a number 1 molded in the cap. Should the rotor be pointing to that??

    I have a quick question regarding the distributor. I know how the distributor goes in and which way its supposed to face BUT can someone tell me which way the rotor is supposed to face when the engine is at TDC on the compression stroke?? A picture would be great. Thanks.

    valve to piston clearance/2020 cam

    +1. someone might have gotten away with it once but you may run into P/V clearance issues. All motors are different.

    I would go up to 24 lb injectors and a 65mm or 70mm throttle body. which upper and lower are you going to be using. cobra? By thumper heads I assume thumper ported? E7s? Just a few questions to get more information from your combo.

    The lines are located on the front of the head on the passenger side and back of the head on the drivers side.

    still working on timing....

    when timing the car take the spout out. It disables the computer from advancing the timing. That is why it is also known as base timing. Pull the spout, set the timing to 10. and then put the spout back in. disconnect the battery to reset pcm.

    I am having a similar problem with my 94. Cold start surges until it warms up. I cleaned the IAC before I put it on new motor. It was summer when I swapped out motors so I didn't really get the affects of a real cold start until October. I ordered a new IAC shall be in tomorrow...

    HELP HELP HELP

    pilot bearings come pre grease and you are not to add any more to them before installing. If the fork moves a tiny bit with full sweep of the pedal the cable seems to be the issue. Get the cable tightened up and let us know how it plays out.

    I haven't gotten it dynoed yet. I will but I need to get some bills paid first. The car is rather quick now. Once I get it tuned I will put it on the dyno. I often wondered what would happen if i changed to a different cam but I like the way it drives and idles now so I'm not touching it.

    Probe with TW heads work but I contacted Probe about notching the pistons for use with AFR heads and they told me that notching is required. I really like my TW heads on my 331. Down the road if I want more power I can always have them ported!
