    Ok it looks like I'm going to go with Magnaflow but what do they sound like at 2000 to 3000rpms? Do they thin out or can you still hear them from a distance when you're cruising? And what is the best place to shop for a catback? Thanks again for all the info :nice:

    I wanted an off-road x pipe but isn't true that you won't pass inspection if you have one? Should I replace the stock h pipe for an aftermarket brand? A yellow Gt passed me today(in Warwick,R.I. just in case it's someone here) I could hear this thing before I actually see it, it sounded badass...

    I just purchased a new 04 Gt and my first mod/change that I would like to do of course is exhaust. What would you guys recommend is the best option a new catback exhaust from lets say Flowmaster or just change the mufflers? Will one sound louder over the other? I'm looking for that throaty sound...

    The leather shouldn't be cracking. Have you used any leather protector that can be bought in any auto supply store? As for the scratchs, use meguiar's swirl remover when waxing your car. You can go to their website or even checkout the sound and shine section on this board and get some help there.

    I like the 05 but I don't care to own one. I fell in love with the 99 and up mustang since they first came out. As for underpowered we all know thats the way the automobile industry goes and I can defenitely live with that.

    I just bought a 04 Gt and would like to improve the exhaust sound from stock. Should I just change the mufflers or just go ahead and buy a catback set up from Flowmaster? Is there a big difference in sound between the two? And what would you guys recommend as a shop to go to to have it done? Thanks.
