    I know, but I see these guys running 125+mph and 10's all motor and wonder why am I screwing around with this s-trim if I can go just as fast all motor? I mean to run low 11's all motor do you need some crazy rpm and crazy lift cam that it makes the car difficult to drive on the street?

    How streetable would a high compression 347 with a pretty agressive cam be? Would it be better to stay EFI or go carb? Couldnt I run spray with the high compression if it wasnt fast enough?

    It was previously supercharged for 50k miles by the previous owner. I then put on the s-trim and lifted the head at the track and passed a bunch of coolant. It probably doesnt absolutely NEED a rebuild, but i have it torn apart so why not. I fully expect another 30-50k out of it again.

    Well how much is too much on this B50 block then? I am getting married this spring, so money is tight, so no budget for an aftermarket block. I was thinking 11.5:1 compression would be feasible on pump gas + meth for a little cushion.

    The cam is not stock, its a Crower stage 2, I believe, designed for supercharger engines. My goal for the car is for it to run reliably :mad: and make somewhere in the low 500's at the wheels and turn low 11's. :nice:
