    Well I push started it, drove it home, and that should have recharged it right? As soon as I pull into the driveway though, i turn it off, then back on again, and it just clicks. Starter is flush i'm pretty sure. Bolts are tight.

    Alright well i finally put my new t5 in, but the car has devloped an annoying problem. It wont start. All I get is a click when I turn the key. Could that be the battery leads bad? I dont think its the starter.

    I got the correct part # from the dealership, but they dont carry it, nor can they order it. I checked with 3 other parts stores and they cant get it either. So does anybody have one I can buy. Please.

    Only the old one has a "tag" (i'll have to get the number) but the number on the tail shaft is the same for both of them.

When I put the two trannies up together, they were a little bit different. The driveshaft fits on both so it will work, but here is the thing...

    It will be at the track, 1/4 mile. I know he would get me from a roll, i want to give him hell at the strip though. Do I need to powershift to get a 13.8?

    My friend has a 96 cobra with a few bolt ons, nothing special. His best run at the track is like 14.1, but another drive got a 13.8 out of it. My car has: e303 cam, 3.73's, subframes, hurst shifter, alumium driveshaft, mac cai, offroad h pipe, and some flows. Think I can run better than 14.0...

    Help with starter

    No, I had it tested, its fine, hell the old one was fine. Something else is wrong. As for the little spade, I only have one wire coming down to the starter? The postive lead then I assume it grounds to the block.
