You know, it has the two tone red/black interior. Used to cringe at it but I rather like it now.... Also, I think eventually all that will be left will be the red cars with red interiors because they aren't as desirable to some.

    Electrical Electrical issues please help!

Did you by a chance stick a voltmeter on it? There are fusible links that would burn out before anything bad happened due to overvoltage/amperage, but I agree, swap the bulbs out and go from there.

ah yes.. but how will you find out what's broken unless you pull it all apart?! Actually I'm glad I went through it's there were 2 completely loose bell housing bolts, 1 loose transmission bolt, top side of the tail pipes were completely rusted through (zero rust on any other part of the car)...

Cool man, good luck keeping it stock-ish :D I just tried this with my 1988 GT, ended up with a blown 347, lol.. Other than that it is all pristine stock looking.

    Engine Engine Dyno Prep

full throttle? Are you doing EFI? Basic tune will do no good as there will be differences between the dyno and the car. Just install the dang thing, pre-lube with a drill and fire that puppy up. Drive it around for about 500 miles and then take it to the dyno for full throttle tuning.

    Engine Anderson N41 cam questions

You may be ok with 1.7's and that cam even though 1.6's are recommended. Only way to be sure is to put clay on top of the cylinders, torque the heads down (you can do this without putting a gasket on and then subtract the torqued thickness of the head gasket.. or you can use the old head gasket...

1989 347 stroker motor starting issue

Sounds like it was just the pinion not fully extending or the pinion not rotating correctly when the starter was actuated. Do you still get the metal on metal sound?

    347 Starter squeal

Yeh not too bad just that little squeak at the end. Also listening to the other one my turns over hella slow! This is a brand new 93 starter, maybe my battery sucks ass. This is a 9.5:1 347, only has about 30 miles on it.

    347 Starter squeal

The starter had some pretty good wear on the pinion gear. The FMS flywheel had zero wear on it, its brand new. I can pull the new starter back off and see what it looks like. I've started it 8 times since I put it on this weekend.

88 stang hi what kind of mods can you do to my 88 with speed density,

SD is totally fine, just need to decide on where you want to end up, if you do a heads/cam/intake (HCI) swap you should be fine still unless you get a super aggressive cam, any one of the alphabet cams should be fine or stage 1 or maybe even stage 2 trickflow. So I guess the real questions is...

    347 Starter squeal

Man I am drawing a blank here. I have an 88 GT with a brand new 347 with a Ford Motorsport 28oz flywheel PN FMS-M-6375-A302B. I had the stock starter in there at first but it made this terrible squeal when starting. I pulled the starter and the flywheel looks fine but there was a bit of...
