    It was hanging under my dash, has a bracket attached to it with 2 wiring harnesses. The car is a 87 gt 5spd with ac, cruise, power everything. It was on the drivers side.

    I just installed that kit, but I haven't drove it yet. I would say its a pretty good kit for the money. I left the quads off per the instructions, hoping I can do away with them.

    It's a bone stock NOTCH with BLACK interior, 5 speed with 100k. I think it's definitely worth 5500.

    That's good news, I am having a hard time finding the column covers. As for the knee panel, I can find them, but most of them have broken tabs and what not. Thanks for the fast replies, and if you can remember to update this thread when they are ready to ship that would be great.

    1990-93 Mustang Upper Steering Column Cover by Ford at LRS - Same Day Shipping! Like that, but I need upper/lower for an 87 with tilt. I also need the panel under the column, I think its called a knee guard or something like that, but I can't find it either.

    That's exactly what I had in mind. Is your box and amp out in the open, or in the spare tire area? Today I'm going to pick up a pioneer 10" sub with a 200 watt amp from a guy off craigslist, now I just need to pick out a head unit.
