    Lower control arm bolt question

I swapped a rear in my '91 Coupe and had the same trouble. I was able to pound the bolts out, but the rear was on the ground. Decided I didn't like the looks of them either once they were out. Trying to get those bolts out reminded me of changing the rear leafs on my "66:(

I guess I'm not the only one who's had fuel gage prob's

It's not the sending unit that's loose now. It's the anti slosh baffle. It just kind of sits around the fuel pump loosely. Didn't know if that was they way they all were.

I guess I'm not the only one who's had fuel gage prob's

I did a search and it looks like a pretty common problem with these cars, however it IS irritating :nonono: I have a '91 LX 5.0 Coupe. I love the car but the fuel gage only worked for maybe 6 months after I got the car (3 yrs). I always used the trip meter, but could hear something...

Is this T5 worth the effort?

I've been looking for a close ratio T5, I know for $1200 or so I could have a new one, but it's just not in the cards right now.:( Anyway I found a T5 at a swap with a 2.95 1st gear. The only problem is it's an '84 (1352-065) That's non-WC, right? I suppose it can't be much weaker than a 4cyl...

    Rearends

I just swapped a 3.73 rear in my '91 Coupe(thanks 5OHALEX). I like the acceleration, but I don't think my AOD likes it very much :rlaugh: I have almost everything for a T5 swap, just need little stuff like starter plate bolts and a pilot bearing.:D I have a V8 T5 I got, but have been...

    what year F150 rear disc?

I've seen where F150 rear disc will bolt to big bearing 9" axles. I was wondering if anyone knows what years to look for in junkyards?

    pulling rear axles?

I have a slide hammer, works every time.:D I've taken a few axles out that definately would not have come out with a drum on backward. Another method I have heard of, but never tried, is using a chain attached to the axle bolts. The weight of the chain is supposed to pull it out when you yank...

Anyone have trouble sealing BBK shorty headers?

I have a sety of BBK equal shorties I installed with copper gaskets. I thought they leaked until I put my cats in for an inspection sticker. Must be the MAC O/R H pipe that was making the noise after all, headers are nice and quiet.:nice:

5.0 clutch pedals or 4cyl clutch pedals

Could you send them to me? I have a pedal set I got at a swap, I think it's from a V8 car, if there's a difference I'd like to know before I go and put them in.
