    1965 mustang with a 289...where does the negative battery cable go?

    I had mine just bolted to the block but would have trouble with it starting after it would sit for about a month, so I had run another braided cable from the back of the passanger head to the firewall and haven't had a problem since.

    The flywheel is used but the clutch is new. Should I have them both replaced or have the clutch resurfaced?

    When I take off from a stop light it vibrates badly till I either let the clutch out all the way or push it back in. I had a friend drive my car and it looks like the rear leaf spring on the passenger side shakes when they started moving. I will check out the motor mounts when I get back home.

    yes it is a type of clear cloat. It dries faster than regular clear and doesn't need to be scuffed before painting over.

    I know that if you mix the pearls with intercoat clear you will only be able to see them if the sun hits it just right. A lesson that I was taught was to use intercoat after you get done with each stage so if you mess up you can always go back and sand it off instead of trying to cover it up.
