    i run do0e heads on my 87. the only thing you need are head bolt guides or hardened washers for the headbolts because the 351 has bigger bolts then the 302.

    why not just drop a turbo b16c with a forged stroker bottom end in a dart block with a huge front mount intercooler and turbo pushing 30 psi with methanol injection and an N2o intercooler sprayer running 110 octane race gas with hondata. then gut it and build a full tube chasis with a glass body...

    no you need to get like 3x3 steel plates to weld the tubes to the weld the plates to the floor to spread the stress out. if you weld just the tubes in down i dont think it can be certified either.

    thats probly the hissing sound you hearing because that pipe comes form the back of the head and it is fed by small holes in the exhaust ports. so yes get that tube fixed and it will fix the exhaust leak and quiet down the engine noise.

    if i were you i would start by getting a new oil pump driveshaft. they are very cheep and good insurance. i would also do an oil change. comething may have gotten in your oil and sucked up against the pickup tube screen.

    its going to be a kidney been shape. staring shallow on one end and getting deep on the other. but the pool is gonna have an aqua color coating on it. does that matter?
