    Doing timing chain cover gasket...

Man I don't know about that. That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Although it sounds like it would work. Would that be ok to do if there is no oil in the engine?

TIRES TIRES TIRES, which of these to get.

Well are you looking for better traction or longer lasting? The BFG radial T/As will last longer but will get nowhere near the MT ET streets in traction.

    Doing timing chain cover gasket...

Ok, I will check the chain while I am in there. So anti-seize is on my to buy list along with a gasket kit and oil dipstick tube. How do I get the crank pulley off? When I tried turning the bolt, the crank moved along with it? What should I do? And I should put sealant on both sides of...

    Doing timing chain cover gasket...

I am going to do this during the upcoming weekend. I have a few questions before I start. Since I will be in there, how can I make sure the timing chain is in good shape? When replacing the gaskets, do I need to use any RVT sealant at all? And what about using thread locker or...

I believe the sequence is from the middle to the outside. For some reason I can't find a plain dipstick tube. Guess I will be going chrome as well.

Well I have one from a 92 Aerostar sitting in my garage I got for $50 from my uncle. I haven't tried putting it on yet though. I am still trying to find out which u-joint needs to be replaced and what vehicle the u-joint needs to come from. If anyone has the part #, I could get on this this...

    Oil dipstick tube bracket

Would it be bad for the gasket if I would loosen a bolt up to put the bracket behind one of them?

    Oil dipstick tube bracket

When I installed my shorty headers, the dipstick tube got bent pretty bad. I can't get it back to the way it was so I will be buying a new one. Where did you guys bolt the bracket to after you installed your headers?

    5-lug Rims for a fox

You may run into problems with the 10.5s in the back. Thats a pretty big rim. Just take some measurements and make sure the offset and backspacing is what you need.

    Offroad X has no hangers???

If the Dynomax sounds anything like Magnaflows you will love the sound. I have the x pipe and headers you have with a Magnaflow catback and I love the sound. It definitely screams up top!!! I need to figure out a way to get a sound clip.

MPG difference between 2:73s and 3:73s

How are you guys managing these numbers with 2:73s? The most I ever got was 21 mpg on my way down to OC, Maryland. I routinely get 17 mpg now with new 02 sensors but that is about 70% of my driving on the highway. I don't mean to jack the thread but what can I change or check besides my...

    FWA not holding adjustment

Ok, well I noticed it isn't routed like the picture, but it is close to that. It is actually above the k member but below the motor mount. I will be fooling with it tomorrow and routing it through the hole in the k member below the motor mount. I really hope this is the problem.

Put together a great X pipe, long tube header combination for me please....

Try a UPR type x-pipe with a Magnaflow catback. I have this with shorty headers and it is fairly quiet until ya get on it. Then she screams!! I will not be changing my set-up for a long while. Yes, Bassani will sound very good also.

    FWA not holding adjustment

Yes, I am using the triple hook quadrant and it is on the middle hook. I had the same setup before the clutch swap minus the FWA. I was using the UPR FWA.

    FWA not holding adjustment

It isn't coming out of adjustment. The part you would spin is staying there but the cable isn't staying with it. The cable should be routed right because, my uncle, who helped me, works on Mustangs for living.
