Drove: 2010 Convert and at 2011 5.0 Fastback.

Which of your "test cars" can you put the top down in? I'm a little pissed that I passed up 100 HP by buying the 2010, but the summer was glorious, & the car is light years ahead of all my earlier Mustangs.

    GT500 Spoiler & "Gurney flap"

Anyone have a picture of the GT500 "flap" paint scheme?

    GT500 Spoiler & "Gurney flap"

I installed the DG Custom GT500 spoiler last week & installation was pretty easy. The hardest part was separating the gooey mastic holding the original teeney-weenie spoiler on to the decklid. I used a metal putty knife--not a credit card as a sticky had suggested. Incidentally, the DG...

2010 Mustang GT Auto/ Need help on some mods please.

Does your tune require premium gas at all times? And---is your warrantee affected? BTW---I've had stick shifts on all my previous daily-driver Mustangs--and for those of us living in congested areas w/mucho traffic jams---my first auto is very welcome.

    Drone-free muffler promised!!!!

I stand corrected---didn't know about Corsas---what is their tech advantage?

    Is Snyc emblem removable?

The clear lens over my radio is scratched, and the dealer says it's part of the radio & the entire center section---radio & all---would have to be replaced & they won't do it as Ford won't cover it.

    Drone-free muffler promised!!!!

IMHO, There are no drone-free aftermarket mufflers; this'll be the first. My 2010 is my 3rd Mustang, and I was staying w/the stockers till now. Some believe the drone is insignificant, but it drove me nuts on #1 & #2 Mustang. And I had Borlas w/high flow CATs.

    Drone-free muffler promised!!!!

Just got the new 5.0 magazine, and they have an article showing an installation of a new, straight through Magnaflow muffler with some sort of a flapper valve inside that promises a quiet exhaust---WITH NO DRONE---for S197s---until you stand on it, at which point the flapper valve opens. The...

    gt500 spoilers...come on in!

Anyone got the parts number for the 2010 GT500 factory spoiler?

Tire Pressure Monitors, Are they needed?

2010s don't use bands---they use a less bulky schader valve stem that includes the sensor. I paid $40 each for them from Tire warehouse. Looking at that dash warning would drive me crazy---and you drive a $40K car--why nickel & dime it?

    Stock All Season Tires?

I went w/Blizzaks. Unbeatable in the snow. You can shave some money off your winter tire expenses by going to Craig's list (I did). Lots of people have snow tires left over from cars they no longer have. I bought new rims, but good 2nd hand ones are everywhere, too. You will need to buy sensors...

    Tire Pressure Sensors for 2010

Well my non-winter rims & P-zero tires have been on for several weeks now & I am pleased to report that---contrary to advice given me on this thread---my car's computer remembered the earlier sensors & NO reprograming was necessary when I took the winter rims & sensors off & reinstalled the...

Looking to mod my 2010 GT. Help?

I have the 19" wheel option which fills the wheel wells, but it still has the "up on tiptoes" SUV look to me. I'd like to lower it, but I'm afraid it'd degrade the ride. My two previous Mustangs had Eibachs & Tokiko 5-way shocks---expesive but rode well..

    Aftermarket Rims---caution!

I guess I need a lesson in lug nut nomenclature---what's shank-style & acorn type mean? And which describes the rounded ends the Mustang comes with? The dealer insisted I buy separate lugs for the Konigs, and I did, but they look the same to me. Both have rounded ends where they...

    Aftermarket Rims---caution!

So---torque aside---and 85lbs is what my dealer said for Ford, our Volvo is 105lbs---what about the centering rings---that's my question---haven't any of you got aftermarket rims?

    Aftermarket Rims---caution!

I swapped out my Blizzaks on my 2010 last week. They'd been mounted on Konig Beyonds for winter driving, and I went back to my stock 3-season 19" Ford mags. I noticed that there was a black plastic ring needed with the Konigs to center the hub of the rim. Tire guy told me Ford rims didn't need...

    First Service Tomorrow!

Gee--got mine in October that means 6 months came around---only 1800 miles, though. Guess I'll have to do an oil change---no synthetic for me till about 5000 miles. They advise some seating of rings & bearing surfaces before switching from fossil oil.

    Tire Pressure Sensors for 2010

I finally got squared away on tires. Good advice on this thread. I got the American Muscle transmitter tool, & it works great, just as advertised. I bought the 8.5" Beyond rims & they look & run perfectly----alas, in just another few weeks, the winter tires come off, & the 19" PZeros go back on.

    snow tires

I just did this. I bought the 18" Konig Beyonds (Tire Rack does not stock Konigs) and Blizzaks. I did buy the tire pressure sensors from Tire Rack---2010 uses tire valve sensors---earlier S197s use the bulky bag-type. American Muscle sells a really great hand-held device to phase the new sensors...
