    Head Removal Question

pardon the hijack, but is it required to remove all the accessories to do a head swap, or can you leave the p/s and a/c in place?

    What do ya'll think?

Id keep the sn95... you know where its been, how its been maintained, its quirks, etc. Id rather see you spend a few paychecks satisfying the power bug with your own car then picking up someone elses sloppy seconds. Dont get me wrong, I'd kill for a nice blown fox.. its just.. you have to be...

school me on "a good set" heads, intake.Street car

Ive seen that article before and a few other ones like it (theres a few links on AFRs website) Your right though, I could make more horsepower with a different cam but the stocker will make a fun street car. I think the reason this combo will be good is because the 165s have good velocity =...

school me on "a good set" heads, intake.Street car

sorry for resurecting an old thread, but im curious if this is actually a good combo. I was thinking of a setup like this, except it would be a stock HO cam on my 1994 and not a SD cam. AFR 165/stock HO cam/ported cobra intake.

Dyno numbers of STOCK CAM combos

If anyone has a HCI combo that retains the stock cam, please post your numbers here. The stock HO cam isnt a bad piece, and leaving it in has its benefits (less teardown, less expense, good low end torque, good idle and manners, better fuel economy) I just want to see some hard evidence of these...

    disappearing fluids...

is there any place that oil could collect under the car and not fall to the ground? (for instance the bellhousing?) its just wierd that the car isnt burning (visibly) or leaking  Another question, this motor has been well taken care of and only has about 110,000 KILOMETERS on it...

    disappearing fluids...

Like the title says, recently Ive been noticing my stang has a mysterious oil and coolant disappearing problem... and I mean it... it literally is just disappearing :( After a week or two the oil level on the distick goes from the top of the crosshatching to the bottom, and the coolant warning...

Trickflow Street Heat on a stock motor ?

Im thinking of picking up a maximum motorsports sport box, its a bit pricey I think (about $1500) but it gives you subframe connectors, k-member brace, strut tower brace, springs, shocks, struts, panhard bar, bushings, and a bunch of other stuff. Sounds like a pretty nice well rounded suspension...

some good suspension for our cars

So when time comes to overhall the stock suspension, I want a kit that will give me noticeably better handling (confidence cornering on mountain road for example) and still ride nicely. I also want a bit of a drop, but nothing thats going to scrape over every speed bump. What do you guys think...

Trickflow Street Heat on a stock motor ?

Mine is a vert, thats the only reason I ask. I know it probably isnt critical (some sfc's are probably more helpful than the stb) but I think Ill be keeping mine just for peace of mind
