    Fuel delivery problem

If it is the stock type mechanical pump then I'm betting the spring in there is weak. I had the spring in my mechanical pump break while I was on the hwy. SUCKED!! I quickly narrowed it down to the pump and with the help of a very friendly local auto supply store (which I could luckily reach on...

    Length of Resto time?

How much time it takes to restore a mustang is going to depend upon the vision you have for the completed product, the amount of time you have to spend working on the car, amount of money you have to spend on the car, and the time it takes to cancel out the effects of normal ware and tare (if...

    71-73 color questions

Does your have the black insert on the rear that goes between the tail lights? Mine had that (I'm not sure what to call it) on it and when I first got the car it was a flat black. Really it looked like a piece of vinyl.

But, I Pretended I knew What I was Doing

I finished securing the top to the tack strips and bolted them in the car. To my relief the wrinkles have been mostly wiped out. I need to get some pictures up for y'all. I'll try tonight. Sure this top install is a pain, but it's way worth the money I saved doing it myself. Course it's taken...

    Pushrod Confusion

Um, you should take your valve covers off your 302 and verify what rockers you have on your engine. It's easy, all you need is a rachet, a 3/8 socket, some gasket sealer (RTV), and a few minutes to play with it. Do you know which cylinder the bent pushrod is in/on? How did you determine...

    Where Is Your Stang Going?

Saw you car, but not you at the auto show. We went up there around 12 and didn't stay too long. Just long enough for me to check out all the cars. There were a lot of really nice looking cars there. I really liked yours a lot. My wife though the color was pretty. I see on the website that the...

But, I Pretended I knew What I was Doing

It could be worse. It's not a nightmare it's just involved. I don't mind as long as I don't damage the top. Time I've got, money, well that's something else. Drivers side Passengers side Minor Update: I jumped on my stang today hoping I could get the top off, adjusted, and back on before...

But, I Pretended I knew What I was Doing

Today was the big day, the day I found out that I didn't really know how to put a new convertible top on a car. Ah, it's not really that bad. The top is just a little off. It looks like it's all in the right place except for the window sagging a bit and the wrinkles in the top quarter panel...

    Where Is Your Stang Going?

Dang it's going to be rainy this weekend. I'm still not done with my convertible top install. I haven't gotten to work on it since last weekend. I'm going to play with it tonight and in the morning, so maybe I can show it off to you. What's your stang look like? Are you in the show? I got a...

    Help with a transmission selection.

I thought the large tremec TKO transmissions required modification of the early mustang transmission tunnel to fit. If that is the case then you should look into an upgraded T5. It'll be a little less weight and you wont need a new bellhousing either.

    Help Electrical Problem

Is there any chance there is a fuse somewhere along the battery or starter cable? Check the wires coming from the battery. I know when something similar happened to me it was a worn starter cable that would short out to the frame when I tried to start the car. Course if that were going on you...
