    Silvert99GT, Did you switch to 265's because you ran out of tread on the 295's or did you just switch out to be safe? Where could I run into a safety problem with the 295's?

    Help w/ weird noise

    I think it's your idle dropping to about 500-600 RPM's. My car did that before I parked it and it sounded like it could be the IAC which I hear is pretty common. Watch your tach and I'm willing to be it's from rpm dropping so low.

    I bought some chrome mach wheels, 18X9. I just got an awesome deal on 2 BFG 295 35 18's for the rear. Is this gonna fit on the 9 inch rim? I just checked tire rack and it recommended 10+ on these tires. Let me know if I can do this. Thanks

    the 17 is 1 inch shorter than the 18, the number 40 in that is the sidewall height. As for actual diameter I'm not sure.

    Go on Ebay and look up AFS Wheels. You can get a better deal than that. Chrome for cheaper than those polished.
