    Thats a myth. Our cars are built to burn enough octane in 87, with 93 you have extra gas left unburnt in the engine, leading to carbon build up in the cats.

    I dont know, I have driven automatic cars, and I enjoy controlling what my transmission does. Also its real easy to learn how to drive a manual.
