    I thought it was that Ford added a grill to the '96, and because of the overheating problems, turned around and deleted it starting with the '97. Making the '96 the only of the '94 to '98 body style to have a factory grill.

    I have the Autometer. What you are calling "the small board" is what I was calling the "original odometer display and its small pc board." In their instructions, it is shown in Figures 10 and 11.

    Yea, I used the KarKraft shaker kit too, plus I lucked out and found a used Mach 1 hood perfect condition in just the right color.

    The remote (the keyfob) itself doesn't "know" to which cars or trucks it programmed into, or to which it controls. The remote has no memory inside of itself. So, don't do anything with your friend's truck anymore. The remote works with his truck (I assume still), and just leave it that way...

    Mine shakes very little due to idling roughness. However, it does move back and forth due to rev'ing the engine, or hitting a bump in the road.

    True. Just going into programming mode in your car, erases all previous remotes. If you have any remotes, you need to program each of them back into your car's memory. If you have none, then just start the programming process, and then end it. Unless you program your friend's remote back...
