    Since I got my ranger I have noticed a loud whinning/buzzing noise from underneath. At first I figured it was an exhaust leak but today I checked and everything is fine. So then i get my ear right under the truck while it is running. I found that the noise seems to be coming from the fuel tank...

    Whats My Engine Worth

    I am goingto be selling my 88 2.3 motor. It was rebuilt 20,000 kms (aprx 12,500 miles) ago with all new internals exept for the crank and cam. Runs good there isnt really anything bad I could say about it. Just wondering what it would be worth. Please state whether its US or Can Dollars. Thanks

    Stang seats in Ranger

    I dont like the bench seat in my Ranger. Since im parting my car out I would like to take to front seats out and mount them into the truck. This can be done right? Would I have to drill new holes? It should be pretty easy shouldnt it?

    I believe that the 5.0 rad is bigger, more heavy duty. The 2.3 fan would work for a 5.0 but its not recomended

    Well I dont think im into the probe. The cost of modification seems way to high. And everything you search for under ford probe turns into a big ricer scene. Not interested. :notnice:

    From everything I have heard you will need to replace the whole pedal assembly. That does mean dropping the steering column.

    I found a site that has covers the 4 cyl v8 conversion sticking with the 4 banger T5. It says that the input shaft is slightly smaller and to fix that all you need is a pilot bearing from a 90 mazda truck to make it work just fine. Well my the first mod in mind was going to be 4.10 gears, so...

    whining tranny?

    A friend of mine had an older dodge pick up truck. The tranny had a very loud whinning to it mainly when accelerating. We found out that the noise was coming from the yoke, it was loose. The day we were gonan fix it he stripped the rear end gears. It would have been fine if he just tightened it...

    Well I have heard that if someone does a 4cyl to 5.0 swap that the tranny from the 4cyl can be used with a different pilot bearing. I am just wondering how strong it is. If it would last long bolted to a fairly stock 302.
