    Loudmouth, Magnapack or MAC?

Too much of a flapping sound. That type of popping does not sound very attractive at all; at least to me.

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

I'm wondering what those main parts are myself? Would it be crank, rods, pistons, bearings because those are all replaced when you put in a stroke kit. What other main parts are there? I kinda agree with the above post though. Stroking/boring a 4.6 is almost pointless because of the power...

    Loudmouth, Magnapack or MAC?

Nope. Pro-Chamber is an o/r pipe. It works nicely on it too. ;)

    Loudmouth, Magnapack or MAC?

You could always get an o/r pipe and then tack weld the convertor casings around the pipe so that it looks it has them on there. Mustangs burn clean enough to pass emissions without cats and have so for the past fifteen years.

    Best Gears?

When you couple 3.55s with a roots style blower it makes for nice bedfellows. :D

    Best Gears?

3.55s - best of both worlds. Good accelleration and decent gas mileage. 3.73s - excellent accelleration and ok gas mileage 4.10s - who needs first gear and gas? Your situation sounds a lot like mine. I chose the 3.55s just because they do get better gas mileage when I'm on the freeway.

    Stroke It or Bore It??????

I like stroking it ;). Either way you go, why would you only take it to 5 liter? Take it up to a 331 or larger.

Intakes and Roots-Blowers...what is available/what do you have?

Absolutely correct. What I was getting at is that Saleen actually grasps the potential and uses it to actually do good. Either way, it's all good. :nice:

Intakes and Roots-Blowers...what is available/what do you have?

Back when I had it installed on mine, you actually over-nighted your computer to them (which is covered in the price) and they make some changes. One thing in particular that stood out is that the Saleen system is a "learning" or "mood" system. What that means is that if you are driving around...

Intakes and Roots-Blowers...what is available/what do you have?

It depends on how you want your car to respond. Roots for instantaneous power or centrigal/belt-driven for spool power. The KB Flowzilla is one of the best roots style blowers you can get. That being said I opted for the Saleen/Eaton Stage II blower and I was not disappointed. I went with...

Weighing my options - gears or exhaust?

No, the Pro-Chamber is not catted. I believe that they are releasing a catted version this year; don't know for sure. The box you are referring to is called the mid-chamber. The way it works is that exhaust gasses mix from the two pipes in the chamber and the swirl and are accellerated out...

    mac cat back

I don't know the exact numbers for either the 2.5'' or 3'' but it's a pretty decent amount for the money. The 3'' is what I bought for my 04 and I noticed a good bit of increase; especially if it is your first mod.

    ticking?!?!?

Sounds like an exhaust leak. When you let off the gas you are decreasing the pressure of the exhaust and it's going to leak out easier, thus ticking when you are coasting. That would be the first thing I would look into. It's probably something as simple as bolt that has backed off some...

    Loudmouth, Magnapack or MAC?

MAC 3''. :nice: Deep, loud, unique sound and nice power for the money.

    mac cat back

The 3'' Flow path system is probably one of the best systems on the market. Now that MAC has the "Tru-Fit" design you have a lot more freedom to align the exhaust as you need. The kit comes in eight pieces (four on each side) and it's separated in all of the previously difficult positions. As...

Take it back to the dealer and don't worry about it. It being a 2004 I wouldn't sweat it.

    Serpentine Belt Question

You will just have to figure out how much smaller of a belt you need and make sure to route it the same direction the engine turns. I would NOT suggest by-passing power steering.

I stand corrected. That being said I have never had any problems with doing it the opposite way.
