    Replace the rack. Mine had the same problem all over the road and the rack leaked anyway so I put a new rack in and it drove like new and was much quieter.

    Does anyone know where I can find a TFI module for a 1995 Cobra? It mounts on the fenderwell not on the distributor and all the parts stores say it mounts on the dist. and call me crazy. I know they are wrong but no one seems to know what the hell I'm talking about. :bang: :shrug: :damnit...

    Installed all new parts at the same time this has been a project over the last 2-3 years. I bought the car as a basket case (no motor,no trans.,blown diff.,good body & interior). the only part on the ignition I reused was the TFI module.

    I have a brand new MSD pro billet in the car already and it only ran for about 30 minutes before I shut it off to check things out(new engine) then it wouldn't start again.

    Question: how am I going to get spark at the distributor and spark plugs if theres no spark at the coil? Just so you know I have a remote mounted TFI on the passenger fenderwell. And I cant find anyone who tests TFI modules so far.

    93 mustang starting problem

    Ok we put a new fuel pump in and backed the fuel pressure down to 38#. It still won't start until the fifth time cranking it but seemed to run fine otherwise. Now this is starting to really stump me. Any suggestions would be great!

    I clocked the alternator and had better luck this time but I had to shim it about 1/2 inch. Will this hurt the belt or will I be chucking belts all the time?

    Dude its already on the car the coil is not throwing spark. I tested the coil on my neighbors bronco and it worked fine but not on my car.

    My coil is getting power but making no spark.Could it be the TFI module? I pulled the coil and put it in another car and it started right up.Please help me! :bang: :bang:also see other thread in svt tech forum for more info!!!!!!!!!

    did you check the inertia switch? sounds like it may also have a hot wire grounding somewhere...?

    My friend has a 93 5.0 with some kind of starting problem when it's cold. It doesn't always do it but he said he has to crank the ignition between 5-10 times to get it to start. He's replaced the regulator and the fuel pressure is set about 45 on 30lb. injectors. It has a fairly new bbk 255lph...

    Fuel Pump Installation, Help please...

    He's right theres a place where the sock at the end of the pickup tube is supposed to go and it only fits one way. Get a flashlight and shine in there and this should give you a better idea of how it goes in but don't force it or it may break!
