    OK, my car's ready to roll...I just need to put some fluid in the tranny. Problem is I'm not sure what kind I should get and how much to put in. I was also told I can put the fluid in where the shifter goes. Is this true?

    I second the Pro 5.0 shifter. I put one in my '85 GT and loved it. Gonna put one in my '67 too. I think they cost around $200.

    To T5 or not to T5

    I'm just about done with my T5/rear end swap and just a heads up that it's not cheap (I have almost 3K invested with a rebuilt T5/9"). IMO you should just start with a nice set of gears. Buy the best parts you can afford. Ratio depends on what kind of driving you'll do and how much you care...
