    Yea. I have to set it at 35* base timing just to have it be at 10* when I am up in the RPM's. It drops like crazy. When the SPOUT is in, it will initially increase and then start to fall off.

    When I take the SPOUT out and rev the motor up the timing retards. It will go from 10* before TDC to 10* after TDC. I am thinking the wiring is jacked because a bunch of wires are spliced. I swapped dizzies so I dont think it is a bad TFI or PIP. What wires could do this?

    I have a 2.3T Ranger and I am trying to get it to run right. The timing is retarding as the RPM's go up with the SPOUt out. It will drop a 20* just revving it to 4k. What wires in the TFI could cause this? I swapped dizzies the other day and it is still doing it.

    I have been driving the car and it has been a lot better. I would like to completely get rid of the bucking though. What happens to a bad TPS? It seems like everytie I check it I get different readings. Should I just buy a new one?

    I have 4.98 volts at the TPS but I am not sure where the MAP sensor is. Is that the same as the baro sensor? If so, I do not see a orange/white wire. I am going to go and check the egr connector right now. If I dont see anything here I will go to the computer next. Thanks for the help so far.

    The sensor came with the housing. It looks like my stock housing, just bigger. If MAF sensors are not calibrated to a particular injector, why do people sell them like that? i.e. 70mm calibrated for 19# injectors. Can my MAF be used on a Mustang? If so, what years?

    Swapped MAF today.

    I got the numbers and they are F3VF-12B579-AA. Google shows this as a 80mm MAF from a Lincoln Mark VIII. Is this true? The guy I bought it off of said it was a 70mm off of a cobra calibrated for 19# injectors. Should I just sell this and put my stock 55mm on?

    Swapped MAF today.

    I do have the 70mm housing that the sensor bolts into. So I can only run this setup inf I have the 94-95 5.0 mass air sensor? I will try and get the number off of it so I can see what it is.

    Swapped MAF today.

    I just recently purchased a 70mm MAF. It said it was calibrated for 19# injectors. Is this wrong then? I think the guy said it was off a Cobra. I have been driving it like it is and it is getting horrible gas mileage. Could this be the reason? I used to get 320 on a tank now I am getting 220.
