Adding a distributor to a D/P block, how hard?

I understand from reading threads that the dual plug blocks have a plug in the distributor hole, but is distributor installation simply a matter of pulling this plug? Is it like a freeze plug? Would machining need to be done to install the distributor(is it unfinished, as cast in there?)? There...

    Oval port vs. D port

Which is better? I see the majority of y'all are using D port heads, however (if I read it correctly)woodster is using an oval port. This may be due to availability, but Ford changed to the D port from the oval...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7979750588&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT I see this is a carbeureted head from the 79-80 turbo cars. Would this head work on a fuel injected engine? I am not having a great deal of success finding turbo motors in this area...

    Restoring Mustang hood hinge cups........HELP!

Get 'em sandblasted. My Dad owns a small blast cabinet, for instance, and I know that would cut the rubber coating and rust right off. Then prime and paint.

    Flowmaster on a 2.3?

I have a 40 series Flowmaster on my car, it sounds great, like a little V8 at idle and up to 35mph. I also have the Ranger header, and I understand that is responsible for the particular exhaust note.

    I've decided to turbo my n/a 2.3L 91 motor

I don't believe they ever changed the exhaust bolt pattern on these heads, I know they have at least two intake bolt patterns. If unable to find out through the forum, I would just go out and look at/purchase a gasket and compare.

    straight six swap

I'm not 100% sure but I thought some of the early fox mustangs could be had ith an inline six(?). You should do it if at all possible, there is a lot of performance equipment(old school)available for the old inline 6 engines. Four barrel manifolds, headers, cams, etc.. You should also take the...
