Oval port vs. D port

Which is better?

I see the majority of y'all are using D port heads, however (if I read it correctly)woodster is using an oval port.
This may be due to availability, but Ford changed to the D port from the oval...

They are pretty equal really, you won't notice a seat of the pants difference.

after comming across a couple of bum d-port heads, i just pulled an oval and it was perfect (of course). So i guess im part of the ELITE turboforders with my oval head setup

Me too ... I'll be receiving my oval port head in a week or so, and so, the journey begins, finally. Praise the Lord.
