    I've never installed one, but the goal is to reduce the rotating mass. Reducing rotating mass will do much more for you than simply reducing weight (i.e. pulling your spare, backseats, etc.). Basically the less weight the engine has to spin, the easier it is to put the power to the ground.

    Theres an alan screw in there, just gotta make sure you get the right size key, its pretty small. i've taken mine off though. wish i could help more, I dont know the size of it, the key i used came with my new shift knob.

    I'd get it, heat is the biggest enemy you have in the automatic transmission, it can only serve to help you when you're driving up steep hills, in 100 degree heat, etc.

    Been busy.. was at the track last night :) 14.9's, a bit disappointing but very consistent. Would have been nice to best that 14.5 but it wasnt happening. On the 30th I'm gone for the summer, I'll be back August 23rd, so if you dont hear from me, thats why...

    Jeez, you guys have me wanting a converter now. I ran my car again last night... was running 14.9's all night, very consistent but nowhere near my best time. I really need that trans cooler.

    Yeah, last night wasn't very good anyway. Couldn't get past 14.9, even after letting her cool for an hour... should have ran bracket though, she was very consistent.

    Those with front suspension creak...

    I had an awful creak comming from the front right of my Stang... took it into the Ford dealer today as a warranty issue. I expected having to fight them into fixing it, them saying they cant replicate the problem, etc. Or that somehow my exhaust voided the warranty. But they didnt, turns...
