    alignment wholes on strut tower?

Eyeball it straight then. It's not perfect but I've done it before on various vehicles with decent results. Get to wrenching on that tierod.

Sounds like you need a different shop or have something worn badly.

    how to fix hydrolocked motor.

He's probably looking at bent (if not broken) rods like stated above. bsedwebt70-5.0's method is probably the best way to go. I hydrolocked my brother in laws prelude (broke 2 rods, bent another, and bent the crank) and my jeep (broke 2 rods and bent the camshaft with a broken rod).

    Removing A/C setup need help

If you decided to suck on the outlet connection for the a/c system while you discharged the freon then yes I could see it damaging your lungs but it won't freeze them. You can remove the a/c system without opening the system up I think. To check if there is freon in the system you can press the...

    gear drive timing set question

No modifications that I can remember. Only real difference I noticed was the noise since I got a "noisy" gear set.

I'm not 100% sure but I do think you can grind it to the roof. I recommend you ask thumper to be sure.

Do they make a gear drive for the 5.0?

Had a "noisy" gear drive in my old 5.0 and it was pretty noisy(I was running a magnaflow catback, o/r xpipe, and mac 1 5/8 headers) in the car. It pretty much drowned out the exhaust completely. I'd go with a quiet set if I go with a gear set again.

    cooler brakes the cheap way

However you have to watch out for water then. Brother in law had his prelude for about 3 weeks and I was driving it and hit a good sized water puddle. PO had cut a hole like you are talking about and had a CAI on it. The wheel pushed a wave of water into the wheel well. Well it sucked water...

Please help fuel pump not turning on!

When the car gets back this evening I'll take pics of the fusible links if no one else has gotten answer for you by then. Can't remember where mine was but I think it was on the driverside near the firewall. Mine did pretty much the same thing when my fusible link burned up on me..

Axle shaft question - How many splines? + strange axle noise.

Already tried the slide hammer. Didn't trust my hand at firing up my torch on the inside of the axle housing and not screwing it up. If the mech screws it up they fix it. Unfortunantly they were out of oxygen and wouldn't let me bring my torch in for them to use.

Axle shaft question - How many splines? + strange axle noise.

Stock shafts are 28 spline. I'm in the process of getting a wheel bearing replaced myself. Pulled the right rear drum and there was gear lube all over. Bearing is seized to the axle housing and has to be cut out. Kinda looking to replace the axles too since this one's already had a repair...

    A/C question

From what I've seen 27psi is okay but I've seen 35 and even 40 on some systems. Can't remember how much R-12 the mustang takes though. Mine was converted to R-134a and took 32oz of R-134a. I think that the ratio of R-12 to R-134a is 80% (1oz R-12 to 0.8oz R-134a) as a baseline but you can add...

BBK LTS Anyone Run em straight

I ran LT's with a section of pipe that would run the exhaust out from under the car in about the middle of the doors. As Grn92LX said it sounds pretty bad. For sheer volume I don't know if you can beat it but for a good sound it's not the way to go. I never got pulled over with them and ran them...

Removing locking lugnuts that I don't have a key for.

The locks on mine were completely round on the outside with the key settings on the inside. Even so I tried to hammer a socket on there but even with the smallest socket I could hammer on it just spun. The hammer and chisel worked for me since I could pretty much destroy the lugs from the inside...

    HVAC issue

When you push on the plunger you should hear air in the cylinder. Here's my thread on my problem. Post #10 has what the lines should get vacuum. It also explains how the switch controls the vacuum flow. You may need to disassemble the switch like I did and clean it up good...

Removing locking lugnuts that I don't have a key for.

The rims are the factory pony ones. I guess I'll try scrubbing them real well. If it doesn't help I may look into powdercoating them.
