    Wheels/Lowering Question...

*bump* Yes... And now I am ordering. I guess I'll go Eibach since they drop it almost 2 inches. If it rubs too bad I'll switch to the stock ponies :spot: Scratch that... Too exp3ensive. What about Koni?

    Popping Exhaust, Loss of Power

Interesting... How would that happen? I mean me and a friend put it together so it's quite likely that anything could happen :rlaugh: You know... When I was first taking the top end apart, I noticed a lot of belt dust all over the place AND THE CAR WAS DOING THIS POPPING BIT BEFORE WE BUILT...

    Popping Exhaust, Loss of Power

Does that mean that these new wires are bad? I wanna say they're 8mm but I could be wrong. Replace them? Loom them?

    Popping Exhaust, Loss of Power

93 Notch 5 Speed 66k Gt40X heads B303 Hey guys I recently did an HCI swap on my car. Finally got it running right by adding a 190lph fuel pump. After a 12 mile drive I put it up. When I took it out again a few days later it started sputtering and popping thru the exhaust, and losing power...

    Timing (b303)

http://*******.com/index.php?action=printpage;topic=13907.0 Sweet- Always someone with your exact problem. Seems that the b303 needs to be set at 900 rpm idle. Mine is about 650-700. No wonder it wouldn't stay cranked unless the timing was advanced to 30*. Should be an easy fix. I'll try it...

    Timing (b303)

It's looking like the B303 has a 5 degree advance built in. I did pull the spout connector out. How in the heck did it get all the way up to 30* timing????? That's nuts. I'll try backing it down. Didn't work before but...

    Timing (b303)

Second question... I think the car was idling at about 1000 rpm when I checked it. I didn't wait for it to drop. Would that cause a higher timing read?

brain buster 88 lx 5.0 no start

You probably washed the cylinders out. Take out your plugs and let the chambers dry and squirt some oil in there. Then start again where you left off. Might want to do a compression check.

    Timing (b303)

Anyone running a larger than stock cam (preferably a b303)? What is your timing set to? My cam card said 5 degrees advance if I recall. A few months ago when we did the heads we couldn't get the car started so we moved the timing until it started and left it there... Today I took her out...

    Another Bucking Jumping Hesitation Situation

Sounds like fuel or lack there of. Any popping thru the exhaust? Check the fuel pressure, tps voltage, and make sure there's no vacuum leaks (like the charcoal canister). What kind of injectors are you using? What type MAF? What is on the new enginge that differed from the old?

Drivers side switch has to work in order for either window to work. Try a new switch first it's cheaper.

    checking timing and got shocked?!

A guy at work (and member here) was putting up a shelf in his garage when he hit the main power supply to his house with a drill bit :rlaugh: Shut down power in his neighborhood. Nobody understands how he survived but only his hand was fried.
