    When i put the seafoam in my car, nothing happened either, but when i took it for a spin i was shifting at 6K and the smoke started to come out. and the car drove a lot better. Did you also make sure the car was hot when you put the seafoam in?

    Just want to understand something,You put it in 3rd at around 90 and it redlined, so why did you put it back in 2nd, did you just learn to drive stick? :shrug: Most likely nothing is messed up unless it was on redline for a while. wanted to ask, is the car driving the same?

    Whenever i start the car in the morning, the car idles fine around 1100rpm, then after it warms up, it drops down to 850rpm. but after its in the driving temp the RPM drops around 650-700RPM and i also notice the battery meter drops down to R on NORMAL, but when its started in the morning its on...

    Do you have any links for the densecharger and the C&L CAI? whats the difference? I would think with those mods and a tune i will get more than 20rwhp. I heard a tune alone can net about 15rwhp

    So in those 35miles it wont show the P1000 code "System Not Ready" ? So with the handheld tuner you can do the same as the MIL eliminator? Well I am getting the xcal2 soon and I willl let them konw to do that. is there a special way for the tuner to know so that it will pass emission?

    Emssions testing question

    If anyone know if the handheld scanners like Xcal2 or Diablo can turn off the check engine light and make it pass the OBDII emission testing please let me konw. Cause I am new in a few months for an emissions and want to know if the handheld tuners can shut it off and still pass emissions.

    I thought u were suppose to pull the PVC pipe out and let it suck up the seafoam/? Thats what the directions say on bottle. you are saying it should not be used in the PCV?

    Airwolf, thanks for explaining that. I think they are goign to start the OBDII emission testing soon here in Northern,Va. So you are saying if you use a handheld to turn off the check engine light because of the offroad x and drive the car for 1 month and take it in for testing it will pass...

    so you are saying in states with OBDII emision testing, u can get a hand held tuner and turn off the light for the cats and if everything else works well then you can pass the test? even without cats? how long do you have to drive the car before the P1000 code goes away?
