    i use 93 octane. the fuel filter isnt that old. i know it's probably time to clean out my air filter, might try that first.

    what could be some reasons i'm getting low end detonation as well as high-end. i get low end when cruising in 5th and give it moderate throttle. i get the high-end when i'm creeping up to and past 5K. dirty maf? dirty iat? dirty filter? thanks

    nothing has changed in my setup. the rpm's dont fluctuate. only after the car is pretty warmed up it will do it. and if the iac mod you're referring to is the one where you place the gasket with the smaller diameter hole on there...then no.

    Sometimes when I'm driving for a while and the car gets warmed up, when I let off the gas and put it in neutral (or clutch in), the rpm's hang between 1500 and 2000 rpm. sometimes if I flip the throttle a few times it'll go back down. Any idea what could cause this? Thanks

    ok, i just noticed that my entire engine is sitting at an angle (the same as the exhaust). so it has to be a bad mount. so tell me, is it feasible to do it myself? if not, how much roughly would a shop charge? thanks folks.

    well, i just noticed that my stock midpipe is at an angle, tilted towards the passenger side...wierd. could this be a damaged mount? how much are motor mounts and how hard are they to replace? and how much would it cost roughly?

    how can i tell if i have a cracked or damaged motor mount? there is a vibration under the car whenever i give it load or when i start it up. it feels like the exhaust is vibrating on something else. the only thing i can think of would be the engine "twisting" enough that even ample clearance...
