    2008 Mustang Bullitt!!!

Good looking out on telling us it is at the 10:30 mark. That is kinda disappointing to me though....I didn't really want a Bullitt. I wanted a Boss, followed by a Mach. Though he did say there would be a at least one new Mustang every year, so maybe the Boss or Mach will be next with the...

    Intake/Exhaust Modifications - FEEDBACK NEEDED

I have a CAI + Tune with no DCTs If it factors in at all I did have a cold start idle problem with a 93 octane tune. Though it never threw a code at me, and has been fixed.

    Who wins Gto or Gt

These are my observations at the track FWIW. A 05-06 GTO beats 05+ Mustang GTs more often than the other way around. I'd say maybe 60% of the time the GTO wins, and 40% the Mustang wins. Whenever I see a slow GTO (i.e. a GTO that runs high 13s low 14s) it is nearly always because they...

Problems with Bamachips 93 Octane tune

I knew they were M&S but I really just wanted the wider tire that was close to the same diameter as stock and fit on the stock rim, and to me they felt better than the stockers. I didn't have much luck finding other 255/50-17s, but that was before I started looking at tirerack.com. As for being...

    A question for drag racers

Yeah this track blows.... It is just an abandoned airfield where they set up a tree and track sensors once a month. I don't know if there is any prep whatsoever. I'm not pushing any insane amount off power, I just have some of the basic bolt ons.

    A question for drag racers

Lately I've been working on my driver mod, and then something dawned on me. When I am making a run at the track, my tires break loose on the 1-2 shift and the rear end goes a wee bit sideways. Before I thought this was cool, but now I've been think it might be costing me some time due to the...

Problems with Bamachips 93 Octane tune

Yeah I can find out the details, but from his brief description he said that he would return the start up and idle portion of the tune back to stock.

Problems with Bamachips 93 Octane tune

Doug at Bamachips sent me an email back and told me that some cars have a cold start idle problem with the tunes. He is just going to adjust a portion of his 93 octane tune for me, and I will be on my merry way. :nice: Apparently this isn't an odd occurance. Though I will take a look at my...

Problems with Bamachips 93 Octane tune

Yeah I was thinking about boosting the idle too I might try it. The Nitto 450s are great and they fit the stock rim just fine (which is the reason I got them)

Problems with Bamachips 93 Octane tune

I've already emailed Doug at bamachips about this, but I know he is a busy guy so I'm sure it will take a few days for him to get back to me. Although I did want to see if anyone could shed light on my problem or have experienced similar problems. I loaded the 93 octane tune about a month...

What I learned today: Stock '06 GT's are slow, Cobolts are faster stock (Funny Post)

I think when something gets badged SS or SRT (namely SRT-4s) or whatever people think it will destroy anything on planet earth. It comes down to physics. There is a HIGH correlation between power-to-weight ratio and performance in acceleration. Is it always right? No, but if I was a...

What's the best way to lowering 60ft times

Lower control arms are easy. I just did them for the first time today, and I did it all by myself. If you know how to follow directions and turn a wrench you should be OK Also unless you are lowering your car, you shouldn't need relocation brackets. I didn't install any, just the LCAs.

    4.10's installed-wow!

The advantage is that you don't really notice the loss in the top end. With the 4.10 gears on a manual transmission with stock tires, the car is still capable of reaching around 174 mph @ 6000 rpm in 5th gear before it gears out. For comparison the 3.55s can take you to 200mph @ 6000 rpm...

    Mustang Re-Designed in 2008

Yeah the mustang redesign is looking like it will be for the 2010 MY like mentioned already. I think the 2010 mustang will still look very much like the current Mustang, kinda like the difference between the 96-98s and the 99-04s. It also looks like we may get the new 5.8L or 6.2L engines...

    UNDERDRIVE PULLEY'S

I'm trying to decide which brand as well. I have to assume the Roush UDPs are high quality as well. Saleen makes some but they are really expensive. I'm interested in finding out if there really is any difference in quality or whatever.

Ford could have made 500+hp naturally aspirated on the GT500

This guy stopped arguing with us a long time ago, and relegated himself to all the other forums where he started the thread. Either way that was an interesting post. Is the RS4 really a grenade though? I don't know Audi's very well, but I would expect for such an expensive car that it would...

2005 GT mustang vs 2000 Trans am

He is saying that with only and intake, tune, and flowmasters you aren't pushing 380 rwhp probably between 280-290 rwhp. So I think we are assuming you accidentally type 3 instead of a 2. The only way for you to get that 380 rwhp is if you installed the flowmasters AND a supercharger before...
