    me personally i would wait 3 yrs from now to get a new stang that way the aftermarket stuff is already ready for me and ford has also done all their new options by then...and hey the cobras might be out by then too

    u can just listen to the car and tell its not being ran hard....and plus look at his start off...like someone else said it looks like he was just taking off from a city stop light....and im really not worried cuz ive seen people run high 14s in cobras on their first runs...then a few minutes...

    Question about stock 4.6 V8 hp.

    the 99-04 gts have 260 hp at the crank not at the wheel.....hp at the wheel will be anywhere from 15%-25% lower than whats at the crank....when u dyno ur car it rates hp at the wheel not the crank so when u see someone with a 02 gt saying their hp is 230 dont freak thats normal

    if your doing daily driving i say go with the pro kit...especially if u have aftermarket exhaust...with the pro kit i only have a couple of inches of clearance between the ground and my x pipe...i cant imagine if i woulda gone any lower...in my mind the pro kit gives the perfect drop for daily...

    nothin wrong with x pipe with flowmasters....i have a bbk o/r x pipe with flowmaster mufflers and it sounds freakin awesome... get tons of compliments every where i go

    ok call me dumb im finally gonna ask but what does it mean to run lean and what does it mean to run rich....ive been hearing these terms and i still havent figured out totally what it means...sorry i guess im still a newbie to certain things

    3.73 for 5spd 4.10 for auto (go with ford racings) speed callibrator for manuals, or a new chip if u have auto instalation kit (ra techs deluxe kit should be good) gear oil (royal purple was recommended to me) i would also recomend a new driveshaft along with the gears (ford racing also)

    Hesitation when starting when engine is warm

    mine does it too...it really only bothers me because i like the feeling of seeing peoples heads turns when they hear my exhaust when i crank up :D ...and when it does that bog thing it doesnt growl as loud during the startup :bang:

    dont know if i would call the mac straight shot a crap system....i have it and kinda like it....i agree with turboscrew except for the higher grade fuel thing...i havent had to do that :shrug:

    i have a question....how are long tubes any better than shorties considering that when u have long tubes u have to go with a shorty x or h pipe...but when u have shorties u have a full length mid pipe...wouldnt it all balance out to be the same :shrug: ........ i know long tubes are better...

    Are U/D pulleys a good idea???

    I live in Lake Charles, La with severe humidity and actual temp in the 90's but because of the humidity it will feel like 110....and i have the pulleys and my temp guage reads the same as when i had the stock ones...so shouldnt be a prob....may start reading a littlle hotter at idle but nothin...
