    just bought a new one with a gasket, figured id change the whole thing. well, just a note to anyone thinking about doing this...make sure you have the top screws holding the back bracket/plate in before you remove the striker. it is a *bitch* to get back together if you let that plate fall...

    air shocks, what are they used for?

    my lincoln has air bags, if those are similiar, theyre nice for a smooth ride...but suck when they go. maybe 10 years ago i paid over $1000 to have them replaced. now theyre $30 on ebay.

    i thought they were for load. i was actually considering them because i have a part time delivering papers in the morning, and right now i have a couple of spacers in the springs in the back. i guess thatll do for now. thanks for the quick response :)

    i dont know about the vents lining up, but the switches should be fairly easy to rewire. just vacuum hoses.

    is this only with the mass air things, or all stangs? because mine hesitates, and has a homemade CAI, but i dont really see how it would matter one way or the other, since its just a filter on the end anyway.

    To everyone with a PVC intake

    no no, in the directions from red lx it states to use one of the pvc-to-copper couplers. thats what i used. it looks like a rubber donut with a couple of clamps on it.
