If you want performance from your I6 then try here.

http://fordsix.com/forum/

AzCoupe is the guy yu want to talk to. Mustang Six is the site owner.

This is the Ford Six Performance website. There are several guy there who have Fox body inlines. One of the guys has a Ford Six Performance Parts store where you can get cams, headers, Australian heads, etc.

Mu 80 Mustang is a I6 car but I have a turbo 2.3L that no one would buy unless I gave it away so I decided to keep it and have enough parts to finish it as a turbo car, otherwise I would keep my I6.

The motor is bulletproof except for the metal shim head gasket. They have seven main journals and with forged pistons, ARP bolts, and balancing they can rev to 7,000rpm.

Low end torque is their specialty.
