    Why not just install it the right way? Go buy some nylon spacers and screw it down. 90% of the places out there don't sell a 100% complete kit,t hey take the cheap way out. The one I got from GEFracing was 100% complete. The screws that hold the pony on are security screws and are like $1.00...

    What spring rates work well with Bilsteins

    Bilstein offers two settings, Heavy Duty and Sport. The Sport shocks are valved for high rate springs and a lower ride height. The Heavy Duty shocks are valved to work best with factory spring rates.

    Well what ever they have, a GT can easily keep up with a little $. Then again I guess a couple of " smart " people over at Mach1registry also couldn't tell a difference in power when some of them test drove a Cobra.

    You really should have gotten 2.25" I/O. Cut theme as close to the muffler as you can.

    The sway bars are the same as a GT. Why not mod the GT? IMO the GT's look better and can be just as fast for very little money.

    On a GT Bullitt and Mach1 springs are pretty much the same. The difference is almost impossible to measure. Both springs are 600 front and 250 rear. The Ford " C " springs are 650 front and 250 rear. With my set up in my sig my car handles awesome, ride as hard as any Bullitt and corners...

    New Tires

    I used the BFGoodrich G-Force KDWS on my F-Bodies and will be using them on my GT when it needs them. The 400 treadwear is a bit overated but they are a great tire with enough bite for my 2000 SS.

    My price out the door is $260 thats with tax. Dealers aren't like performance shops they don't match prices or stuff like that. The prices that GEF and Stangestore have are between wholesale and retail.

    I can get all of the parts I need for $260 with my discount at the local dealership. Anyone have the Mach1 springs/struts/shocks on there GT? I would imagine with my sway bars it would be awesome.
