LOL gonna put a 460 in my foxbody...

I have nothing really productive to add to this thread, but I have seen and heard one 4 eyed fox with a 460 and it gave me a chubby. I say build it, who cares what anyone else thinks????

    smog/air pump pulley removal

That about sums it up. You could probably get any number of members here to donate you a whole air pump also. I would but mine went in the trash years ago.

How Important is draining the oil onlevel surface in fox body?

I have always just pulled my GT up on ramps. I know you don't get every last drop of oil out this way, but if you change your oil at regular 3K intervals I don't see this as a major problem. It has worked fine on my GT for the almost 10 years I have had it.

    Installing Sub Frame Connectors?

Can this be done with the car setting on 4 ramps as long as the car is setting on all for wheels with the suspension loaded?????? I don;t really know anyone with a lift I could use.

    Trans Cooler Question

Yeah that does make sense. I don't plan on driving the car very much in sub-55 degree weather, but it has worked great running through the radiator cooler and the B&M for three years so I guess why fix what isn't broken.

    Trans Cooler Question

I have had a B&M 19,000 GVW cooler on my car for about three years now. It is attatched to the condensor and I have the fluid running through the stock cooler in the radiator then into the B&M then back to the tranny. I am ditching my A/C and will have to relocate the cooler since I am yanking...

    Powersteering Delete, Keep A/C?

I don't think you would even need a pulley there if you use the stock brackets and put the A/C compressor back on. People run short belts and bypass the P/S pump at the track all the time, so removing it should be no different.

Whats the difference in these gaskets?

When I got my car the previous owner had installed a Trick Flow intake. When he installed the throttle body and EGR spacer he used RTV instead of gaskets and it looked kinda crappy so I decided to take them off clean them up and put gaskets on. I went to the parts store and they had the throttle...

    spacer or not?

I think you need some sort of EGR spacer or and EGR delete plate to bolt your throttle cable bracket to. I considered buying one of the delete plates myself, but since they are thinner than the stock EGR spacer and I am using the stock S/D airbox and tube I figured I would have fitment issues...

deleted smog pump now have vacuum line trouble

Yes it will throw a code, but it shouldn't cause any driveability problems. Mine is an '87 so I don't have a CE light to worry about. I assume you don't either on your 88.

deleted smog pump now have vacuum line trouble

Do you still have EGR or did you delete that as well? If you deleted it also then like Rick said just rip it all out. There is a vaccum line that comes from the upper intake then splits into two lines running over to the passenger side strut tower to feed all of the emmisions. If you are...

    Same Feeling?

I hear you , I just got my mustang back after 2 years. I drove it to the store the other day and when I walked out it finally hit me that I had my 5.0 back. I saw it setting in the parking spot and had a flashback of all of the fun I have had with it over the years.

    Stang Problems..HELP

The fact that it randomly dies at stoplights and then cranks back up could be a clogged fuel filter, if you just bought the car and don't know it's history that is one of those cheap things you will want to change anyway.

deleted smog pump now have vacuum line trouble

You can by a whole package of little rubber caps that fit on those lines for a couple bucks at the parts store.

Vaccum, EGR, EGR vac reglator and vac reserve

It was disconnected when I got my car back anyway. They blocked it off when installing the Trick Flow intake so, I figure one less bunch of clutter.

Vaccum, EGR, EGR vac reglator and vac reserve

So if I am looking at this diagram correctly if you are not running an air thermactor system or EGR then all the vaccum plumbing from the left of the fuel pressue regulator over can go correct?

    Couple of Vaccum Questions

The bracket on the passenger side strut tower where the EGR ect. vaccum lines attatch, what all does that feed? My car has no EGR and no smog pump. What other lines attatch to that mess of vaccum lines? I am wondering about deleting the whole bracket. Also when the previous owner installed...
