    Thanks a lot everyone, all excellent input here!! :nice: A quick look into those H&R Super Sport springs show that they seem to lower the car a bit more than the Ford lowering springs, and that amount of lowering does make the car look pretty darn nice from viewing customer photos on the AM...

    THANK YOU Mustang5L5!!! That is the CORRECT dimension to make it 1/18 scale! Mine measures a little under 3.5. Thats the 1/4 inch I was talking about to make equal scale. THANK YOU!!!

    :nice: EXCELLENT post wmburns:nice: I guess some folks choose ego over doing it correctly. Perhaps that shows why some people have the blowout issues, and others who torque it, dont have to mess with inserts and new heads.

    Um, to those questioning the OP's usage of a TW for the plugs, with the mod motors (aluminum heads and 3 freaking threads for the plugs) torqing them is a NECESSITY. On my foxes, it would never cross my mind to have used a torque wrench, and never did I use one. Mod motors--different story...
