    You should run for at ;least 20-30 minutes to break the cam in aswell. "Flat tappet" means its a non roller camshaft

    Lift is decifered in the camshaft not heads. Valves will lift until they hit something or the valve springs reach coil bind. Is that what you were asking? Maybe I missinterpreted your question..

    Yeah, lotsa of aftermarket manifolds dont have that cross over anywways. When you put er back together use some weatherstrip adhesive or something around the water ports :nice:

    351 Modified (400) is a big piece of crap. Its similar to a 351 cleveland/ 429 / 460. While they CAN be made into some killer torque motors smog and the heads they had really choked the motor up. Windsor or early 302 would be the best. I wouldnt put an HO because in my opinion Id rather build...

    PS pump will usually just puke out the excess fluid. Breaking cam in and such your supposed to run regular oil with no detergents or anything. Reverse the drill when you prime it (counter clockwise) just like the firing order on the cap.
