    the kit at that site is cheaper then 50resto's tranny alone, i think ill order it from them when i get my income tax check. also......will my new bassani mid legth headers and x-pipe fit fine around it? im sure it will but i just thought id ask.

    im thinking about getting a 6-speed with 4.30 gears for my 97 cobra. would the t56 be a good choice or should i go with somthing else. 50resto.com has a new t56 for about $2700, what else would i need to install it?

    not sure where u live, but most places around here wont turn rotors with the slots. drilled rotors they will tho

    drill 2 or 3 small holes in the bottom of the housing so it can run out. i had to do this to my 88 gt's, they kept fogging up and poping bulbs.

    gtx super clean, purple gallon container from walmart for like $6. use it full strength and u can watch the grease run off. spray it on and let it sit for like 2 min. wear a mask tho, its strong smelling

    motor mount ?

    the mounts on my 97 cobra are shot...(cracked).....should i go with new urathane mounts or solid motor mounts. i realize the solid ones will cause more vibrations, but is it really that bad?

    ive decided to go with bassani mid lengh headers and o/r x-pipe from 50resto.com. the shops a reputable shop and ive been going there for years. the shops just said long tubes arnt worth the headache of installation for an extra 3-4 hp thats gained.

    what did u have to do to install them or did u have a shop do it. both shops said itll take about 15-20 hours cuz they have to lower the k-member to take out the old ones and install the new ones.
