    It's not too warm right now, in the 40's. It was 60 degrees on Sunday which was pretty nice for Massachusetts this time of the year.

    3.27 stock . I would like to stick some 355's or 373's in mine soon. The gears are really long and the engine loves to rev.

    Does a rebuilt trans need to be broke in?

    luckily all of the gears wear fine in my tranny so i just had the synchros bearings and all of that replaced.

    Stang in the snow vids

    yeah mudvayne is pretty good, sounds like poop in the vid though. Driving the stang in the snow brings back some memories of the first stang i owned, i don't drive in the snow with the 2nd mustang. Can be actually kind of fun sometimes.

    yeah definately put some weight out back and like everyone said stay a gear ahead of what you need, bog that bitch out your so low in the gear and just be careful around turns, esp sharp ones, nothing you won't be able to handle if you have had some side ways action before. Either way i'm sure...

    you can either start out with 0-60 times of 7+ with the aod, and get beat by other cars that a ghey, or a low to mid 6 second car with the 5spd. You can obviously make the aod fast but thats going to take some money and besides its fun ripping gears.

    3,000 for a mustang with 100k isn't too bad, if the car drives nice and the body is good. I personally would get a 5spd to start off with. It all depends how much you have to spend on the car after you get it too. You won't stay satisfied with the auto for very long thats for sure.

    the tranny was installed and rebuilt by Cottman. I am still going to bring it by there and have them check it out, i have a 90 day warranty on it so i might as well use it.

    I definately considered getting a tranny off of jegs for 1400 but I am on a budget and I ended up paying 1200 and the tranny shifts like butter now. I am not planning on doing any serious modifications at this time anyway. I also had new o2 sensors put in, a new speedogear, and a new starter...
