    i did that in my z34... only with a mustang exhaust clip, and later a corvette exhaust clip... i had to drown out the sound of 4 cams and 24 valves ticking (sure the redline is set to 7000 but i figured it was more of a guideline than a set rule)

    The only thing the base 460 system lacks is cleaner treble and of course bass... like i said droping in some subs cures the problem of bass, and for me a new headunit helped with the treble enough that i can enjoy it. just as well as my full systems.

    personally i think you made a very wrong choice, but thats just me. GTO = the ****, amazing power, sleek looks (as opposed to the mustangs ... sweet looks i guess), 6 spd, bigger displacement, decent mileage, much more comfy interior.
