When, if ever, would want to upgrade your master cylinder and power booster for your car? Larger calipers? Rotors? Is there a different system in the Cobras than the GTs since they have different size brakes?
I don't have a target HP that I'm trying to reach. I'm just trying to see the most I can get from a 351 stroker while keeping it street drivable. Want a silent killer for the street as well as a "neck turner" at the strip.
I'm pretty much just trying to see if I need a 6 speed, is there a different wiring harness, or a different computer out there which suits a 351 better. That kind of thing.
Anyone know where I can find in depth specs for the 351W Ford cars and trucks? More specifically Saleens and Lightnings that were not modular and were fuel injected. I'm doing a 351W stroker build and want to know where to start. What did Ford vehicles get put in there's? I know the 94/95...

Stripping the car down and parting out the 302 to make room for the 351 and and beefier tranny. Working on the car in a one-car-garage and I need to pull the motor and the tranny next. I was gonna lift the motor out but since the tranny has got to go as well, I figured lift the car and drop...
I'm going for 351W so I'm parting out the 302. Was dying to finally dig into my first engine. This one has 120,000 on it. I was really suprised how well everything looked. I'm the third owner and I can tell the first two took really good care of this car. Those were the two worst looking...
Ok I figure with me driving around with a bad MAF sensor for a while that was causing some bad air signals which in turn resulted in the computer sending the wrong fuel amounts to the injectors. Could that have caused this? I don't even wanna know what the inside of my heads look like now...
I wonder if the head gaskets you have there are for non-emission legal heads. I know emission legal heads have more holes in them like for air and coolant.
And I'm happy for you man. Hopefully in a couple years I can say the same. Thanks for sharing your story. I really love it when people give me experience with their theories. Makes it seem more obtainable for me. So it looks like low compression is the way to go with strong internals to...
Well I did a little more reading and I agree that a 393 would be the best street/strip engine. Anything bigger than that just isn't meant to come off of the track. What do you do to the engine to set it to a certain compression? Is it just the engine's internal components need to have that...
