    Blower Motor Resistor

I just pulled the car out of storage today and while I've had a smile on my face all day, I just noticed on my last drive that the fan only works on the highest settings. From the searching I've done most people are set on the blower motor resistor, does that sound accurate? The fan blows...

Is this mod really worth it?

I'd do it. It depends on your version of worth I guess. I'd spend a couple of hours for 10-15 horsepower.

    what size injectors?

The 30's would give you a little more breathing room if you have any notion of future expansion, but you could use 24's no problem. I would base my choice on whether or not you'll be adding more power later.

NEED *23 tooth metal speedo gear*

To my knowledge there is no piece like this. The 23 tooth gear from what I understand is a Chrysler piece that doesn't exactly fit our cars. The only real solution to get an accurate speedo is a speedcal, or something of the sort.

I dumped 'er for my current love...check it out (motorcycle pics)

Pretty sweet :nice: I use the gas mileage as an excuse to keep my bike... but we all know that isn't quite the whole of the truth. I love both of my toys. I bet it was a bit tough to let the bike go huh?

    TKO 600 Driveshaft install problem.

I also pulled mine out and the d/s went right in. I tried to push the piece in as well but it didn't work for me either. Just be careful to not tear/rip the rear seal.

    what would you guys do?

I have a friend that keeps my car in a pole barn with other stored vehicles for $50 for the entire winter season. If I so chose he would keep the car stored for free over the summer. Any close family or friends where you could park the car? Sometimes apartments make exceptions for things like...

    what would you guys do?

You'd more than likely be really pissed at yourself down the road if you let it go. I would go out and buy something used and mostly reliable and have two cars. I know you said money is short, but you can park your stang until money is more plentiful. I just turned 22 and storage insurance on...

thinking of fabbing up my own catback

I say good deal :nice: Do you have any skirts (SVO?) or are you just going to run the tips out the side? I'm interested to see/hear how it turns out.

    air/fuel ratio gauge

If I were you I'd put that $30 towards those ignition pieces you mentioned in your other thread. The gauges aren't worthless, but they are only as accurate as a narrowband o2 sensor can be.

    ignition boxes

Is the car entirely stock? If you're looking to do a tune up you can replace the cap/rotor, and wires if you so desire, but you don't need pricey high end pieces for the stock motor. If your motor is stock and you don't have any big future plans, you could use a MSD cap/rotor kit (~$25 at local...

    air/fuel ratio gauge

Narrowband o2 sensors and gauges aren't really worth the cost. If you are looking to accurately see what each side of the engine is putting out you need to use a wideband, and for both sides you would need two. If you are interested in tuning the car yourself than a wideband o2 setup and...

    ignition boxes

Lots of questions! What's the reasoning behind the ignition? The stock ignition is no lame beast. What year, mods etc. you have would be helpful.

    Mix 'n Match Ignition Components

It seems that Taylor and LiveWires are the two highest recommended wire sets around here. I also looked at those Taylor wires, the ThunderVolt's I think the 8.2's were. I found those for a pretty good price. Taylor also has a really high end 409 10.4mm set that looks like it might compare to the...

    Mix 'n Match Ignition Components

JT, I did. I've also been looking through the SN of the month nomination thread and drooling over all the beautiful cars we have on this forum. Part of my quest for an ignition coil was indeed looks. I wanted to use the MSD over the Mallory or the Demon because they are both just plain jane...

Am I loosing my F...ing mind

Well, I'd have to see a dyno sheet of that. Those 24's most DEFINITELY aren't making that kind of power.
