Will a rim blow wheel from a 1970 mustang fit a 1969 mustang?

How very disappointing. I just made a big and expensive mistake.

Pump gas in a 399 stroker?????

according to the first post, this car is purpose built for the strip and is already pushing 600 hp. It sounds like it is anything but streetable and a bigger cam is only going to make that worse.

Push button starter. Anyone seen the StarDrive?

it is first and foremost, a security system. I have to have an alarm on my car for my insurance. In addition to having the ignition disabled such that the car cannot be started without the RFID transponder, the system also has an alarm on it. I also think that the idea of the pushbutton is cool.

that is exactly something I was thinking about. I will shoot Sven an email and ask what Plan B is if the ignition fails.

Pump gas in a 399 stroker?????

you could get thicker cylinder head gaskets but I don't know if this will get you more than 1 point. I run 11:1 compression on 94 octane gas with no problems but I feel like I am pushing the envelope for a street car. 12:1, on the other hand, is just too much for a street car. You can either...

    My 65 Mustang "Screaming Horse"

Keep in mind that 98 octane in Europe is based on the RON whereas the US uses a different standard (PON). 98 RON in the NL is equal to 94 PON that you might find in the US.

New 331 is in the car but I have a fan problem.

That is what I was forced to do, in part because my Meiziere electric water pump was too close to the fan. If you have no cooling issues with 536 rwhp, then nobody should.

    My 65 Mustang "Screaming Horse"

69MachI but I am not too terribly active over there these days since my car is not finished yet. Plus, I pretty much stopped posting when a lot of guys gave me $hit because I cannot write in Dutch.

    My 65 Mustang "Screaming Horse"

Holy moley! That is a nice job you did. Maybe I will see you at a Cruise Brothers event this year. What is your username over on DM&FF? Whichever dyno you go to, avoid Moritz in Amsterdam like the plague.

    351W Stroker; 393 vs 408

Advantages of 408: more power Disadvantages of 408: more expensive, shorter lifespan (the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long) How much more power from a 408 over a 393? I know a guy with a very streetable 393 who makes 500/500 with a roller cam. Do you absolutely...

    OK, I searched and I give up…

look at the new Autometer MC series. Auto Meter these are 5 inch gauges and would look sweet in your car. The one is a combo speedo and tach whereas the other has fuel, volt, oil pressure, and temp on it.

Yes Virginia, you can run a line from your Meziere electric pump to your heater core

No because I crashed my car before getting to it and I went for a full resto and the water pump to the heater core hook up is still to be done. From this to this to this then to this then the floor Last March, all that was left to do was the fuel and brake lines, rewire the...
