    Warm yor car up and pull the oil fill cap off and see how much smoke comes when reving I did a 390 once with crome molly ring 2 cly. never sealed leared a good lesion on that one

    A good shop can test them for a fee But if I get 10 mpg in my 89 gt jumping for joy my bronco get 12 my boat gets 5gal per mile it seams any way call a good shop they can help at times

    You got a 750 holly dbl pumper or vac Id pull the bowls off and look for crap in and check the filter my 427 did that to me a few times

    Just go the car back out (sitting in the barn for 3 years) 3rd gear is grinding and revrs I put a new clutch kit and reserfed fly wheel billit quad and fire wall adjster the pedal cames 1/2 way up befor engaging any help please thanx
