3rd gear grind

Just go the car back out (sitting in the barn for 3 years) 3rd gear is grinding and revrs I put a new clutch kit and reserfed fly wheel billit quad and fire wall adjster the pedal cames 1/2 way up befor engaging any help please thanx

your syncros are gone reverse doesnt have any syncros so that will always grind but it sounds like it is time for a trans re-build.

agreed. 3rd gear synchros were the first to go in my tranny as well.

Thanx Brother thats what I figerd but was hoping it might be some thing stupid after all this time the car still runs awsome just cant bang 3rd gear
