    another note to think about, here in texas when you go get your car checked they do the smog numbers according to vin. vin = 4 cyl, then you'll fail with the crap piling out of that 302 :)

    Installed New autometer Temp guage Now stock one wont work!

    When I replaced my therm housing /w a o'reillys part it had a port on it for a temp sender... it's plugged right now (way it came) but you can back it out and screw a sender in there. I'm sure that would be a pretty accurate reading, cost $9

    Car has no power after 3g install

    kinda sounds like a dead battery... +12volts then when you throw the key on the load of the car's stereo etc might pull enough juce to drop it. Is it at 0 exactly? Only other thing I could figure is you got the key on/off mixed up and the hot side of the relay mixed up with the switched...

    Need Help Quick about removing alt pulley :)

    glad i didn't try pulling that pully off the 2g then... (tried screwdriver method and then gave up). My volts stay at 14.00-14.20 /w all accesories on though. Will be adding stereo soon (600watts etc) so let me know if you find a part # for a smaller pully somewhere.

    Putting a balancer on-

    I ended up having to pull the fan & radiator to get room to remove the balancer... went ahead and pulled the timign cover and replaced the gears while I was that far in :) bought the puller for $30 at autozone, used the same nut in the puller to push the balancer on.

    vibration from motor

    Had simmilar problem, vibration at 1000-1200 rpm but none at idle or above 4500rpm. It got worse and eventually you could feel it across the board just the worst at 1000rpm. Turned out the balancer was thrown 90deg off... try turning the motor over until you hit TDC and look to see if your...

    anyone else have this same noise under thier hood

    check the a/c clutch... mine is a little loose and will chatter like that. Does it goa way w/ the a/c on? I can hold the clutch (when a/c is off) and teh chatter dissapears.

    Removing locking lugnuts that I don't have a key for.

    I had wheel locks on my used mustang, the kind /w a wierd fitting around the lug. I just found a socket that almost fit on it, then smacked it /w a hammer to lodge it on. Then used the socket to get it off... used craftsman tools so if it got fubar I could get it replaced. Worked GREAT on all...

    starter staying engaged after car starts and key is released!!!!

    I bet your solenoid is stuck... mine did this when it got hot under the engine bay. It woudl just start the car... was worn out from a bad starter that drew too much current through it. Replaced the starter, then had problem where the starter kept running even /w key out. Bout the $19 relay...

    The only people I can imagine that will buy a used turbo off ebay would be people who have a lot of turbo experience. I wouldn't do it for fear of missing parts, broke parts (cracks etc), or bad instructions. Getting raped on shipping... and the reserve is over $2k. I only bid on...
